We offer a variety of live and recorded/eLearning ABPI Code of Practice training courses to make the Code come alive. All our courses are interactive to help you understand the practical implementation of the Code.

ABPI Code of Practice training for creators and reviewers

Our advanced ABPI Code of Practice training course is the equivalent of a 2-day course and is here to support material creators, reviewers, appropriately qualified persons (AQPs) and aspiring final signatories wanting advanced training on the Code.

You can take the course in two ways:

  • Join our live online course on zoom with four live sessions over 2 weeks.
  • Take our self-directed interactive eLearning course.

Live online on zoom

We run this group course every few months live on zoom as 4 x 2.5hr sessions.  You need to attend all four sessions but each session is recorded and is available for 1 week in case you have a diary clash or want to watch it again.

December 2024
Dates: 2, 3, 9 and 10 December at 2pm – 4.30pm (UK time)

 

 

February 2025
Dates: 3, 4, 10 and 11 February at 2pm – 4.30pm (UK time)

 

 


Self-directed eLearning course

You can take this self-directed course at any time and go at your own pace.  The course has mini-videos, interactive quizzes and scenarios and a bonus 30 minute personal Q&A session with Jayne to answer your questions.  You can take the course once and must complete it in four months.

Cost

Both options cost £1,795 + VAT per person in 2024 and £1,895 + VAT in 2025.

We’ll make the Code come alive with lots of real case examples so that you understand the practical implications of the Code.  We want you to come away with clarity and confidence.  We will explore:

You’ll get a course handout of the key slides and a course certificate.  You can also access our 6 competency quizzes to check your understanding and test your knowledge after the course.


Who is the course for?

This is an advanced level ABPI training course and is ideal for material creators, reviewers, AQPs, aspiring final signatories wanting advanced training on the Code.  A wide range of people have attended this session.

  • Medical reviewers from Regulatory, Legal, Medical Affairs and Medical Information.
  • Material creators from Marketing and Brand teams.
  • Aspiring medical or commercial signatories.
  • Appropriately qualified people (AQPs) who need a broad understanding of the Code.
  • Anyone taking on a Code champion role in their organisation or needing in-depth knowledge.

This course does assume basic knowledge of the Code and builds quickly.  If you are completely new to the Code, please consider some basic training before you take this course such as our introduction course. If this is too basic, check our 6 month expert programme.
